Taylor’s Banana Bread

Description

This is a recipe from a dear friend. I leave out the nuts.

Ingredients
  • 3 Very ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup Sugar or 3/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups Sprouted Ancient Grain Baking Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Arrowroot
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Nuts
Instructions
  1. Add the Baking Soda to the Tablespoon of water and set it aside

  2. Sift all dry ingredients.

  3. Mix Bananas with sweeteners and wet baking soda. Mix thoroughly.

  4. Mix with sifted dry ingredients and chopped nuts (nuts are optional)

  5. Grease and Flour pans (I use baking sheets. ie: Silpath.) Bake 50-60 minutes at 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Remove from oven and let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Place on cooling rack for 1/2 hour before slicing.
