Basic Biscuits for breakfasts, dinners and brunches. Good with butter and jelly for quick snacks. Recipe came from The American Housewife Cook Book (no longer in print). Each one my mother's girls, Rita, Myself and Ruth, received a copy of this book. To my amazement my husband's mother also had this cook book! I made my father-in-law Ginger Bread cookies for his last Christmas he was with us. HE DIDN'T WANT TO SHARE!

Pat out 1/2 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on greased baking sheet close together for not crust on sides, or far apart for crust all around.
